Herby, Garlicy Halloumi

Herby, Garlicy Halloumi is simply divine. Salty halloumi with herbed garlic olive oil is as easy as it gets. You can serve with Sunday brunch or on its own with warm crusty bread. Super fast, super yummy and super easy for any night of the week. Recipe below:

Serves: 2 | Prep: 5 mins | Cooking: 4 mins

Ingredients

Halloumi

200g Halloumi

1 tablespoon olive oil

Garlic Oil

1 cup olive oil

1 garlic - bulbs peeled, smashed

Freshly ground salt & black pepper

2 sprigs fresh basil

Step one: mix all the ingredients for the garlic oil.

Step two: heat oil in a non skillet on a medium heat and slice halloumi into pieces.  Pan fry halloumi on both sides till golden brown.

Step three: To serve, drizzle warm halloumi with garlic oil, basil, freshly ground black pepper and salt.
