Herby Yogurt Turkish Eggs with Smoked Sesame Chilli Olive Oil

Bored of your weekend breakfast or brunch repertoire? I got you with some Herby Yogurt Turkish Eggs with a Smoked Sesame Chilli Olive oil.

Imagine… Creamy, garlicy yogurt with plenty of dill, perfectly poached eggs drizzled in a crunchy sesame & smoked chilli oil. It’s so so good with some warm buttered crusty bread and the most quick & delicious way to switch up your weekend breakfast or brunch plans . You can make this en masse for more than one or in little bowls / ramekins. So easy and so so incredibly divine. Happy Friday!

Here’s what you’ll need

Time: Prep 5 minutes | Cook 8 minutes
Serves: 1

Herby yogurt
3 tablespoons Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon labneh
Freshly chopped dill
1/4 teaspoon garlic (optional)

Mix all ingredients and refrigerate till use

Smoked Sesame Chilli Oil
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
1 teaspoon smoked chilli

Heat olive oil over a medium heat and pour in the sesame seeds, let them crackle and add the chilli. Let it bloom for about a minute. Remove from heat and set aside.

To serve
Salt
Fresh Dill
Chilli
Poached eggs cooked to your liking

Layer herby yogurt, and place poached eggs on top. Drizzle with chill oil, throw in some more dill and sprinkle with salt and chilli. Enjoy with some warm crusty bread!
